Assoc. Professor WANG Houxiao
Dr. WANG Houxiao is an associate professor in School of Mechanical Engineering, Shandong University of Technology. He received his Ph. D from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2013. He carried out collaboration research attached with the Institute of High Performance Computing in Singapore from 2009 to 2011. He visited NTU as a visiting associate professor in 2020. Dr. Wang is a member of the board of directors of Chinese Society for Optical Engineering. He also serves as a senior member of several academic societies, such as the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and the Chinese Optical Society. His research interests Focus on advanced laser processing and manufacturing assisted by ultrasonic vibrations, E-field, magnetic field and/or water. He is an author and co-anthor of around 40 publications in peer-reviewed journals and an inventor/co-inventor of 11 patents.
