Assoc. Professor Hamid Farrokhi
Dr. Hamid Farrokhi has received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Iran in 2004 and 2007 respectively and Ph.D. in Laser-matter interaction from Nanyang University of Technology – Singapore in 2014. Prior to joining Shandong University of Technology (SDUT), he was a scientist and R&D engineer in the Harvard University and Wellman Center for Photomedicine – Massachusetts General Hospital - Boston leading a research and design team in laser-based medical diagnosis devices. Dr. Farrokhi has long been engaged in laser micro/nano manufacturing and laser imaging-related research, participated in 3 national scientific research projects, 15 enterprise research and development projects, won 1 award for excellence in innovation, published 26 SCI/EI papers, authorized 3 US patents.His current research interests include ultrafast laser-matter interactions, magnetic/electric field assisted laser ablation mechanisms, optical interferometry, holography, and biomedical imaging systems.
